Ran into this with my MIL when she was up visiting. She was spoiling DD tooooo much to the point DD would expect something to be bought at every store we went to, or if she wanted something and she knew we would say "no" she would ask Nana, or if we already told her NO she would go to nana and nana would say yes. I won't be waking my newborn grandchild up from a nap just because, and I'll do whatever I can to be very supportive of whatever parenting decisions that they make.
