He is required to put in 80 hours over the course of 2 weeks at his job, but he can split that up however he wants, as long as it doesn't seriously interfere with his ability to do his job. I can work from home in a pinch, whereas he can’t teach class unless he is there, so it would depend on the specific day’s schedule. If it's a certain day of the week, my husband can't take off because of meetings so, I would stay home. (I've been working from home for the past few weeks, so I can do that now.) But when I worked from my office, Mrs. Bee did most of the backup Charlie care and I'd try to help out more with Hellobee from the office to make up for that.</p> <p>How about you: who stays home and/or watches your kids if your regular childcare falls through? </p>
