E spits up so much, but hasn't shown many signs of discomfort. I remember C used to do it too around this age, but E is so often. He's gaining weight though, so I haven't worried about it.

After feeding we do a good, long burp session with him in several positions. If it is bedtime, usually I'll lean him against my shoulder for about 15 minutes. When I take the time to do that, we have less spit up.

If the spitting up feels like a problem to you, try a different med. each works a little differently. My LO was on Prilosec then Prevacid and Prevacid was great for us.

We also wedged his mattress with a towel for a few months after transitioning to the crib.

If you can have her see a pediatric OT, they can make a "wedge" for her to sleep on in her crib. Its made of foam with straps to keep her from rolling out.

We angled our son's crib mattress up for the same reason. We put a thin rolled up blanket under the sheet by his feet so that he wouldn't roll to the other end of the crib. I was nervous about him mushing his face up to it, but it was thin enough and stayed put under the sheet that it wasn't a safety concern.

@fussygal: they sell wedges on amazon for angling the crib. Completely normal to spit up a lot you are correct Zantac is for the acid in the spit up.

LO is 3 months and has been taking Zantac for reflux for about a month and while she doesn't projectile spit up nearly as much or seem in pain, she still spits up A LOT. Is that typical of reflux babies? I've heard the Zantac often doesn't help with spit up, but rather the pain management part of things.

Also, she sleeps in her RnP and if I try to place her in her bassinet after a night feeding she spits up after squirming around for a minute (I assume from being uncomfortable). The RnP is fine for now, but we'd like to move her to the crib in her room soon. Any advice for putting her in her crib but avoiding issues? I've heard of putting the mattress on an angle but I'm not sure how to do that safely.
