@CatchAFallingStar: awww I am sorry for that scare, I know my friend had some tiny bleeding around that time, and her midwife always said all was ok and maybe her cervix was swollen or irritated........just trust your gut and if you need to lie to get seen do it!

Same as @Raindrop:. I can't believe they didn't want you to come in.

Wow so scary!! *big hugs*

Do you know if you have placenta previa? That can cause bleeding.

I'm a little surprise your doctor doesn't want you to come in. I know my hospital would rush me in if I was bleeding at all.

@CatchAFallingStar: How scary! I agree with others...try to take it easy, drink a lot of water and if it worsens even a tiny bit, call your doc and have them take a look.

I asked if I could come in, but they not unless it worsened. So, hopefully that doesn't happen.

I'm so sorry! I just had a bad scare with a lot of bleeding at 16 weeks (I'm almost 18 weeks now). Baby is fine and so am I, aside from being really shaken up. Try to take it easy as much as you can!

I'm so sorry :( I had some spotting in my second tri, and it turns out that I had torn my perineum. I also had some spotting after going #2, because I was constipated. Either way, it is so scary. Can you ask to be seen?

I had spotting at 24 weeks as well. I work in ob so I ended up being seen for piece of mind - they did an u/s, cervical check and checked cervical length... everything came back fine. I'd take it easy the rest of the day. And definitely be seen if anything worsens!

Is there any way you could have irritated your cervix? Pushing too hard to go to the bathroom? Sex?
So scary but try to rest and drink a lot and do some kick counts. I'm sure everything is okay

I had a TINY bit of spotting this morning. I'm 24 weeks tomorrow. This doesn't cease to scare the crap out of me. It was so small that it almost looked like maybe I had a little cut or something, but I still feel so sad and lethargic today. I don't know what I'd do if I lost our baby girl. I called the doctor and she said that as long as I feel baby moving (which I do) and that it doesn't get worse and there's no cramping, everything is fine. But, I guess I still don't feel 100% reassured. I hate this. :(
Just wanted to share.
