One day at the end too. Not mid cycle. it definitely started when I TTC which ended up being many, many cycles! Dr. Google told me stress creates a drop in progesterone which can cause this. I was all freaked out about a short luteal phase which two fertility specialists told me is not really a problem at all. So I wouldn't worry, I really wouldn't. I don't know if it was stress or just getting older but I always spotted from age 31 on. I started spotting when I should have had my period, but only noticeable when wearing a tampon, it was a tiny amount. I usually spot for at least one day leading up to my period, but this time I had no spotting until I was already 1 day late. It lasted for 5 days and then I got my period. Since then my cycles have just been longer in general. I’m not on any form of BC so am a fairly frequent POASer, but that cycle I had decided not to POAS unless I’m 5 or more days late so I’m glad I didn’t waste the money. I was supposed to start my period on Sunday (3 days ago), but I started spotting that evening. Sometimes I have spotting before my period, but in that case, my period has always come by the next day with full force. So now it's Wednesday, and I'm still spotting with no period. It's not enough to use a tampon, it's just a tiny bit of blood when I wipe. I took a pregnancy test this morning and yesterday, but both were negative. I don't think I'm pregnant, because I estimated ovulation around CD14, and I didn't have unprotected sex until CD17. It's possible I ovulated later, and my friend suggested this could be implantation bleeding, but I never heard of it lasting for 4 days before and I think I would have a positive pregnancy test by now. Any clue what's going on? </p>
