I had normal cycles while off the pill. I had previously used the minipill after LO1 with no issues. I spotted for about six weeks on it and then was fine...but now I've had it for about 4 months and in the last month I've had minor spotting a day a week. With DS1 I had basically 2 periods every month while I was on the mini pill and it drove me NUTS. I'm worried that's what is happening again now. I'm thinking about just quitting hormonal BCP until I'm done nursing. Has anyone who had crazy spotting/breakthrough bleeding on the mini pill tried this? I'm worried about a) the spotting continuing and b) how can I get a good sense of my cycles to start if I don't know what is *actually* a period? </p>
