Agreed that AF can come back before HCG is all the way to 0 and would add that your cycle could be wonky for a little while. FWIW after I took misoprostol at 10 weeks for a missed m/c my cycles were weird and I spotted off and on in between periods for 2+ months (only time I’ve ever spotted in my life), so it could just be spotting. Not typical, but possible with no other complications or a new pregnancy. Sorry you’re going through this. 💔

You can still ovulate before your hcg levels completely zero out. That happened to me after a D&C that I had had at 10 weeks. I went to the RE after starting the first cycle post-loss because I was going to try a Clomid/IUI cycle. I was given a blood hcg test on day 1 of that cycle and still had lingering hcg so they had me come back a few days later. Because it was still positive, I couldn't do treatment that cycle. I felt signs of ovulation right on time that month but still had positive pregnancy tests. That was the cycle I conceived my daughter. I've had 3 losses and they have taken as much as 6 weeks to zero out so I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be instantaneous.

Hi bees, I took misoprostol at 6.5 wks for a missed mc on 7/8/20. Started bleeding a couple hours after taking the pills and passed it all out that night. Bleeding lasted about 5days and then completed stopped. Followed up with my ob on 7/22 for an ultrasound and he said everything has cleared out.

Im still getting strong positive HPTs that don’t seem to look any lighter each day.

the last few days I started having dull cramps which I thought might be from ovulation but I read that women don’t ovulate after an MC until their hcg returns to zero?

Yesterday and today I had very faint light pink spotting when I wipe.

My husband and I had unprotected sex for maybe a minute on 7/21 before I stopped him and made him put on a condom.

Anxiously awaiting hcg to go back to 0 or AF to arrive.

Thoughts?
