I had a much more negative experience on the mini pill than the regular one. I did have spotting on the mini pill, but I've had spotting for many years and several OBs have told me it must be my normal (nothing else has been diagnosed). I couldn't take it anymore and we switched to condoms. Maybe just give it more time? My OB said that would help reduce spotting. Well, I had a 7 day period and then started spotting 4 days later. I'm guessing it's because of the mini pill? If this happened to you while on mini pill, how long did it last? </p> <p>(I'm not breastfeeding, but using the mini pill rather than full hormonal birth control because we are not sure of whether we will TTC again and don't want to mess too much with my hormones). </p>
