@NovBaby1112: That is nice and soon. Maybe we won't have to try and adjust his schedule for daycare, we can let the time change handle it.

I'm not sure what we're going to do. We have to make it to preschool by 9 at the latest. DS1 wakes up at 6:30 or when a sliver of light comes in through his window. I hope the time change helps us!

I think we'll leave it. She wakes up super early and is cranky and tired in the evenings when she gets home from daycare. So if we can put her down around 7.30 DST and get her up at 6.30 that'd be ideal. I like the idea of a less rushed evening.

We usually can manage a shift of about 30 minutes each time but that is about all we can manage without total issues to schedules.

@ALV91711: March 9th!

@hilsy85: Actually, this time change should help with early morning wake-ups! So instead of waking at 5:30am, they would wake at 6:30am (the old 5:30am)

Waah this scares me :( I don't want to deal with more 530 wakeups as a result of another time change!

I wouldn't mind if we acted like nothing happened and he went to bed at 7 instead of 6. This would really help for him starting daycare.

When is the time change?

I think that we are going to play with it in the hopes that she will start sleeping till 630 every day.

We went on as if nothing happened and switched her bedtime to 8. It worked for our summer activities. This year we're slowly moving her bedtime back to 7 so that she will go down at 8 instead of 9.

We'll need to adjust Xander's schedule because regardless of when he goes to bed, he'll have to get up at the real 7:00 to go to daycare, so I'd prefer if he got in enough sleep beforehand!

In the past, we've just gone with it as though time hasn't changed. DS sleeps 730-830 right now. so i think we'll probably just stick with it.

I know daylight savings is coming up in a couple weeks....
Are you going to adjust your LO's schedule so they keep their current one or are you going to act like the time change didn't happen?

LO has been sleeping 7-6/6:30 the past few days, so we are going to start putting her to bed at 8 after the time change (the old 7) and hope she wakes up at 7/7:30 (the old 6/6:30).
