I just bought DH a ton of nice stuff from the J Crew outlet. They have really soft polos and nice shorts... they aren't cargo (I think cargo shorts look younger), and they're still long enough that they don't look too preppy or old man-ish. DH is 6'0 and 29 so that's pretty close to your husband!

@Mrs. Pen: oh I need to get my behind to the Banana Rep outlet near us! And ill check Target out. I don't like Gap anymore either, not even for my stuff. Except jeans sometimes...
@LovelyPlum: We like the fitted too. He's slender so he swims in anything not fitted.

My DH loves Banana and J Crew stuff. He wears a lot of polos and shorts in the summer. Doesn't wear the baggy cargo shorts, more fitted. He is a hottie!

We've had luck at Express for DH. He's slim with narrow shoulders and a long torso at 6 feet. I usually end up buying him narrow cut shirts. They seem to fit better.

We've also had luck at Banana Republic with how they fit him. Sometimes they can be pricy, but Old Navy brands (which is the same company) fit the same way. Try there! It's sometimes hit or miss, but when it's a hit, it usually works well.

Also, we've had luck at Penny's too, but I haven't been there in a while.

Haha I still shop at AE for DH! We particularly like their polos, and dress shirts for layering.

We've had the most luck at banana republic outlet this year. They had some great deals and I got him some adorable spring-type stuff in colors.

He mostly dresses in polos and cargo shorts in the summer. We don't like the polos from kohls cause they shrink a ton. But we like Ralph Lauren polos. The Ralph Lauren outlet usually has good sales and clearance as well.

He gets most of his basic shorts from target since they're a little cheaper.

We haven't shipped there recently but sometimes express has some nice men's selection.

And DH in particular likes casual tees from Lucky. Again the outlets have the best deals there! I once found him a clearance tee for $10 and lucky jeans for only $20 marked down from $120! Definitely one of the best deals I've ever found ;)

We gave shipped gap and gap outlet but are usually disappointed with quality after a few months. It's good for quantity though. But since DH doesn't like to shop and goes months/years between shopping quality is more important for us.

Any nice things out there for men that you've seen?
My husband hates shopping so I get to buy everything in his closet. He rejects half and they get returned, but I do it every eyar anyways.
To work he wears a full-on suit. But, on weekends and vacation (we're going in 4 weeks) he needs shorts, shirts and shoes.
His style is very young? But, no American eagle young! More like, he has age appropriate and *sometimes* expensive taste but likes to dress youthful?
I don't know where to start this year. I have mom brain and I honestly haven't shopped for non-baby items in awhile.
I have express coupons, have you seen anything there?
He is nearly 6', slim and 31 years old.
