The ad started popping up in my FB. I looked into it more and ordered and we just got it (horrible timing with Christmas, and a very long explanation of why it isn't a Christmas gift...) But DS1 (just turned 4) is loving it, and as a former teacher, I'm loving it, too! I swear I'm not a shill for the company, but that one FB ad is the only place I've seen anything about it, and I think it's really cool.</p> <p>They don't have an android version out, but the company was guessing late January when I contacted them. </p> <p>Basically, it's an app that runs on your iPad, and then it has a large tactile holder for the iPad and a whole set of letters. The mat talks to the iPad and it knows what letters are placed in the tray. I'm doing a terrible job explaining it, but so far, we are loving it!</p> <p>The apps are free.
