We change on the floor and I toss a leg over DD's torso. Or I change her standing.

LO1 is 22 months and changing his diaper can be such an ordeal - in the afternoon is when he gets uncooperative and wants to stand, roll over and not let me change his diaper. I tell him if he could only sit still, it will be done before he knows it but of course he doesn't understand or listen to my reasoning.

I say worse before it gets better. :bummed: Our LO is SO squirmy & does barrel rolls! I try to distract with toys & talking to her about colors, her clothes, body parts, whatever I can. She's usually better with DH than with me.

Oh yes. Worse, I think. 7 month old DS is miserable to change now. He starts flipping to his front AS I AM LAYING HIM DOWN - that's right, he turns in the air it's so bad. :/

I'm about ready to strap A down on the changing pad. She has always been wiggly, but lately she is REALLY fighting to roll over. And she's just barely 5 months!

In my experience (I have an almost 13 month old) it's only getting worse! It's kind of funny now.....distracting used to work, but now i have to sit on the floor with her, and have one of my legs on each side of her kind of holding her with my legs so that she doesnt flip! She always seems extra squirmy when she has a poppy diaper of course too!

Babies are starting to roll while trying to change their diapers.

They are almost 10 months.

I started using the floor instead of the changing table.
I distract them by using toys, blowing raspberries and tickling them.

Does it get better at all? Or should I brace myself for it to get worse?
