I grew up in Wisconsin where the tradition carried forward from Germany strongly. Our daughter will know about St. Nick as it's part of my family history and she'll also know about Santa Claus. We never told anyone who it was! He would bring out our stockings and fill them with fruit. Now he mails me a tin of my moms Christmas cookies!
