Thank you all! I can't wait to try these! I'm going to start with the oxyclean maxforce gel stick. I'm so excited to see how it does! The idea of doing one load of laundry and having everything come out clean is making me giddy inside!

The oxyclean spray works well on its own, but I find it's especially effective if I work it into the stain with a nail brush before laundering.

Same as others have suggested - Oxyclean Max Force works great! DD comes home with stains everyday and it gets out pretty much everything.

Me too with the Oxyclean spray - I don't like it because of the smell, though. I usually try the Dawn/hydrogen peroxide combo first for that reason.

@SweetiePie: yeah I agree with you on the spray! It gets out almost anything. 95%. The other 5% I put a paste of oxiclean powder and spray and let that sit then wash
I've had mixed reviews with the stick. I've had two items that were actually stained blue by the stick itself. I'm not sure if it doesn super well in low water HE machines (mine is a front loader)

I read to mix oxiclean powder and oxiclean gel stain remover and it took out a set chocolate milk on white smoking stain the first time.

I use the oxiclean max force gel stick and it gets out the majority of stains on the first try. Occasionally I'll do an oxiclean soak combined with it for something really aggressive.

This one: https://www.amazon.com/OxiClean-Max-Force-Stick-Pack/dp/B005N7ETR0

I second both of the above suggestions!

I always use the oxiclean Max Force spray and it takes out all but the toughest stains. I actually haven't used the Fels Naptha in years, but I've got one on hand in case I need it!

It was recommended to me on here, and I've been using the same bar for over a year, its taken out grease stains, color bleed, grass stains, drool stains, love it.

I use the oxiclean spray stain remover and it works first time 95% of the time I'd say.
I once unknowingly washed and DRIED a white shirt with a spaghetti sauce stain. I then sprayed the dried and set stain with oxiclean spray and it came out first time.

My daughter comes home from daycare every single day with food stains all over her. Right now I spray on Shout, soak in a tub of oxiclean until the next laundry load (usually the weekend), and most of the time I have to repeat this treatment twice to get the stain out. But it does come out, eventually.

Does anyone have a sure fire way to get food stains out the FIRST time every time?
Bonus if it's available on Amazon subscribe & save!
