I find getting the diaper on again a little tricky, so it's not my preference. I don't mind doing it if they don't want to lie down though. I don't think wiping is a bi deal. I had DS stand on the stool by the sink, which was fine cause he played with the soap and stayed put. I was able to easily flush the poop and wiping was fine. It bothered my back a little cause I was crouching way down. She's been throwing fits during normal changes lately. It's easiest to do when she's busy with something else like a snack or coloring. I just make sure she has something in front of her to grab so she can lift her feet (sometimes she grabs my shoulders). We use cloth diapers though and that makes it a bit trickier. So easy. Poops are tricky standing up- I feel like I never really get her totally clean since I can't see everything. It was tricky at first, but after a while I loved it. They have some diapers that have stretchy attached sides, like pull ups, and they make it super easy! Apparently this is a big thing in Montessori!</p> <p>DS hates laying on the changing table already (especially in public bathrooms). I'm thinking this sounds like a good thing to try if we can make it work. Does anyone do the standing diaper change? What's your process like? </p>
