I had a student who wouldn't eat much if anything during lunch. I brought it up to mom and she said by the time he got home he was so hungry he would eat a lot. She didn't seem too concerned and knew it was the medicine.</p> <p>As far as the mood swings and sleeplessness, I'm hoping you find a dosage that works well for your son. The medication is Concentra at 18 mg for the first 2 weeks and then 27 mg there after adjusting as needed.<br /> He has been moody with it. Playing with him tickling him yesterday his moods went from laughing and playing to crying with in seconds back and forth. It was literally as quick as snapping your fingers really quickly. He has had very little appetite eating a quarter of what he normally would eat. He is also having very little energy. His eyes looks like he hasn't slept. He slept last night but not very well waking up every hour for a few minutes. He also has been very grumpy. It seems to be working but I am not positive.<br /> So after explaining a little for the moms who have experiences with children with ADHD if you medicate have you experienced this with your LO on medications? </p>
