Our LO started in September and was the only new kid in class. He had a very rough adjustment, with lots of tears and they were so patient. I got them gift cards after that first week of school just to thank them for being so kind and welcoming him. I didn't know the "norm" and wanted to make sure the teachers felt appreciated taking on a new baby cuz I knew it'd be a rough transition (she hated the bottle) :( especially with the vacation mixed in.. I think we gave her main teacher about $40 and her other teachers $20-25.
