My LO (3 in October) is starting preschool in Sept and the separation process is very slow-I think it takes about 3 weeks, so in the beginning they are only there for part of the time and you are there with them. then gradually you increase the amount of time and the separation.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi ladies!  So our family is checking out 3 preschools tomorrow.  My son turned 3 in March and I'm a SAHM.  I have 2 questions:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;1). How can I make the transition to pre-k easier on him?  He's pretty attached to us and I'm nervous how he'll do away from us. Also, he's really shy around other kids, how can I help him adjust?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;2). What questions should I be asking tomorrow?  Is there anything I should look for or be aware of in particular? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Any advice from experienced mamas is appreciated!  I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing!!
