It took a couple weeks for her to get used to it, and for a good month or so she would sometimes eat well and other times barely want a few bites. LO is 6 1/2 months now and is doing really well. Our ped recommends 6 months but she was soooo ready since 5 months!<br /> We started with something in season, roasted butternut squash. I've made all her food and started by slowly making her purées chunkier and giving small cubes of food. After about 2 weeks of purées we went into real food. At about 8 months she was 90% BLW.
