Starting solids is fun and it's so cute seeing faces that the little ones make when they try new flavors. I, too, started LO two weeks before her six month mark because she kept staring at us when we ate and I felt bad. I gave her a tiny bit of mashed avocado the first time and since she liked it, her get official solid was mashed up avocados. We just started sweet potatoes and I made a big batch of applesauce for her next food to try. They grow up so fast. I can't believe it's already time for you to start Cobi on solids... and that means that our daughter is just around the corner. The leader of my mom &amp; baby group says that after 4 months if the baby has good hand coordination and neck control and is showing interest in solid foods, then go for it. I have been trying to wait til 6 mos but today it was so hard watching his little face try to understand why we wouldn't give him our food... so I took the plunge.
