<description>&#60;p&#62;It's best to start on the first Sunday after you period starts and you need a backup method for 7 days. Or you can start on the first day of your period and then you don't need a backup.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm starting back on the Pill again after MANY years off of it. I forget how it works haha.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I just had my first period in 2 years after finishing up breastfeeding, it ended last Friday, based on timing, i wanted to start my new pill (tri-phasic, what I used to take for about 13 years) this sunday.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;My question is - is that OK that I'm waiting a full week after my period is ending to start taking it??
