My son had that from 0-7 months unfortunately. His sleep cycle was 36 minutes exactly. No sleep training or anything fixed it. I admitted defeat and around 7 months it got better! Solidarity. I feel like I have PTSD from those 7 months of nap hell.

Both my boys napped 30 mins from 4 months...one until 5.5 months and another until 7.5 months!! Tried sleep training both including CIO and they just had to outgrow it. They would sleep well in car but that's it.

My 4.5 month old takes crap naps at home. He wakes up every 20-30 minutes and cries. Sometimes I just let him keep crying in hopes he'll fall back asleep. Most of the time he gets so worked up, that's it. Even if he falls back asleep, he'll repeat the wake-up/cry thing every 20ish minutes. How can I get him to get past that REM cycle, if that's what it is? Is this a sleep-training issue?
