They don't have to be truly sterile, just clean, so after you sterilize them just put them in a new ziplock bag.

Sterilize everything and then put them in a ziploc. You probably won't need any of those things but I understand the just-in-case thing.

I am trying to remember, because I packed the pacifier and pump parts...which honestly, once you take them out of the sterilizer (if you're using one) are exposed to germs. I just put everything in clean zip top baggies.

I would just sterilize them, then store them in a new ziploc bag?

Once you sterilize it it will stay clean assuming you keep it clean (aka in a ziploc bag).

You can buy a pacifier holder/case such as this:
http://www.amazon.com/Nuby-Paci-Cradle-Pacifier-Colors/dp/B0027A5FUQ/

For the pump I would just put into a clean & unused ziploc bag!

I'm just packing my hospital bag. Here in the UK, things like dummies (pacifiers) and formula (if required) is not provided so you are instructed to bring your own. We have solved the formula problem by buying a "starter pack" with measured feeds in pre-sterilised disposable bottles, so if we need formula it's there and ready to go.

But what do I do about the dummies? Then how do I store them to make sure they stay sterile?

How about the breast pump? Surely I need to sterilise all the parts before I take it to hospital? But if i sterilise it now, how long will it stay sterile for?!!

This is so complicated!!!!! What did everyone here do??
