I found that if I can catch the croup cough and help him kick it quickly, that's the best. It was a struggle to get her to take them because they taste bad, but I do think they helped with her breathing. Hope K feels better soon! The doctor prescribed a dose of steroids for her, but said it was up to us if we wanted to give them to her. I hate to just give medication if it could clear up on its own, but at the same time, I don't want her to suffer longer than necessary. I'm leaning towards giving them to her, but- what is your experience? Have you given steroids for croup? </p>
