Thanks guys! I picked up the Honest spray yesterday and it worked like a charm this morning. I'll keep an eye out for the Mustela bc I love their products.

@dc yoga bee: do you dilute it? Thanks for the recommendation!

@gingerbebe: this was what we used to do at our old place, but our new sinks are shallow and counter space is cramped.

I use Mustela PhysiObebe, its a rinse free wash that you squirt onto some pads and wipe down butt/hands/face. You could also just use a washcloth with some warm water/soap after cleaning her up with wipes.

I have the mustela bottom wash (I think its called). I just keep some cotton rounds on the change table and do a quick wipe with the bottom wash once in a while, especially if she had a particularly nasty poo or a super soaked dipe. Smell is nice (if you like the mustela scent) and its just super easy.

We just clean up with wipes and then do a sink rinse. We don't do it as often anymore but when DS was smaller, I kept a peri bottle of diluted J&J baby wash (just water and a few squirts of wash) to spray his bottom and rinse him off in the bathroom sink. It was no big deal and kept him fresh.

We use Honest diaper wash for this purpose. Love it!! ETA: it's soothing bottom wash. Sometimes, it's not even poop but just doesn't smell fresh after wiping with wipes. She's 10 months, and has terrible eczema, so we won't be bathing her daily. This does the trick, and gently cleanses!

Did she poop? The other day DD pooped in her diaper during morning wake up. I felt like the poop stench was absorbed into her jammies! She didn't smell fresh till I changed her clothes. I always use unscented wipes. ;)

Anyone else experience this?

My 14 month old DD still doesn't smell clean down there after her morning diaper change. I'll use a few wipes or so to clean visible mess up, then go over once with just for a good measure. Could our hippie, scent/everything free wipes just not be doing the trick? Or should we go up a size for night time? I really don't feel like sticking her in the tub for a cleanup every morning, but can't stand her not smelling fresh either.
