DS has had major poopy problems. When he strains the most and it hurts him a lot he actually would lay down from a crawl and shoot his legs out straight behind him and they would be so tense. and SCREAM! It was the "I hurt" scream too.

Maybe it is straining, but with my guy it HURT a lot. It could be her way of stretching or she could be gassy. Does she act like it upsets her?

@BeachMama: Maybe it is gas. Have you tried giving her gas drops to see if she still does it? Maybe it's her way of stretching :)

Usually it's healthy. She went through a period a month or so ago where they were dry little pebbles, but now it's back to normal. And she usually poops several times a day. Maybe she's gassy?

Hmm... When she does poop, is it healthy or is it dry?

LO has always done this thing where she lies on her side, tenses up, bends her top knee and grunts. She does this several times throughout the day. But she doesn't poop or fart after or during. This may be a dumb question, but is she straining to poop? Anyone elses LO do this?
