I used those icing creations packets of the colored powder (you could use koolaid too) and colored yogurt with it and let her go to town. She helped me unload the dishwasher, sort the laundry, put things in the hamper, put clothes in the washer/dryer, bring things to me, pick up items from the floor and hand them to me, walk around with the Swiffer duster, I let her hold the vacuum for a minute and she'd push it, get things out of the cabinet for me, etc. </p> <p>I also started giving her busy bags if I needed to get something done. I fill bags with special fun items and only let her play with them occasionally so she is never bored with them. We go for "walks"around the house. Go to the window, look for birds. Go upstairs (she loves the stairs!). We take her bows out. She takes all of her stuffed animals off the shelf. We read books. We listen to music. We play with the kitchen bowls. Not very exciting! I'm looking forward to when she gets old enough for crafts.</p> <p>Eta:she also really loves the wooden peg stacking toy. We have a great routine going, but sometimes I question if Im playing with him enough variety wise. He LOVES blocks, so most of our together time is sitting in the floor stacking blocks, putting blocks in the box, taking them out of the box, etc. Sometimes we go visit the baby that lives in the mirror. Then we ride his four wheeler up and down the hallway a couple of times...then more blocks. :silly:</p> <p>Any suggestions for some at home indoor activities? (At home because our area is severely limited in baby activities) </p>
