I ended up with about 70 NBs, 600 size 1s, 400 size 2s before baby was born! </p> <p>I didn't dare stock up too much on NBs but we ended up needing about 100 more than I had originally purchased before birth. SOOO helpful because the last thing I wanted to worry about was getting diapers and wipes. We got 3-4 packages of NB diapers, and used all and only had to buy 1 package. LO will be 6 weeks on Saturday and our stash of size 1s is still going strong. I think we have gone through 3-4 packages so far. You can just keep receipts and exchange/return if you get too many. I only bought one box of NBs before L arrived, and I kinda wish I would have stocked up when there were sales because I ended up having to buy diapers full price because I ran out.</p> <p>I would suggest keeping an eye on Babies R Us sales. Whenever we saw a good sale, we'd pick up a case. I have a pretty good idea of how many to get. If you did this, when did you start buying? Did you wait until after your shower to see if you got any diapers/wipes? I'll be 32 weeks at my shower. </p>
