It lasted 5 days with my daughter and 3 days for my son. But my son never vomited, just loose stools. Both my husband and I never got it, but I blame that on the fact that we took activated charcoal. I kept everyone home and isolated for 2 weeks because I have heard that this stomach bugs contagious period is super long!

I teach high school and I swear 30% of the school, including me, got it. Mine was 24hours. Somehow my husband and 1yo didn't! At least I don't think my son did, he was feverish and grumpy for 5 days but I think he was teething.

I had it for 24 hours. My daughter (14 months) had it for a full week, but only one day of vomiting. The rest of the days were diarrhea. She didn't eat for 5 days pretty much and near the end she stopped drinking anything and stopped peeing so I was in and out of the clinic and hospital because I was so worried. Hope your youngest doesn't get it.

My son woke up Sunday night throwing up in his bed. I'm not sure if he actually had norovirus or not. I stayed up with him for 2 hours while he threw up off and on. He threw up twice the next morning, but it was probably an 8 hour stretch total? He did get a fever later that day. He had foul smelling gas, but I don't think he ever had diarrhea.

I thought we were in the clear, but I ended up puking Thursday afternoon until late Thursday night. It was absolutely terrible...I couldn't keep anything down for hours (I'm also pregnant which made it worse). I stopped puking about 6 hours after it started and didn't puke again. I might have had a slight fever overnight/early morning, but it cleared quickly. I felt kinda crappy all day yesterday, but didn't get sick at all.

My husband has not/did not catch it. Hopefully it stays that way. Hopefully you and your other LO can avoid it!

DS1 caught the norivirus that's been going around! Ug. We are on day 2 and he's just starting to feel better. I'm paranoid that my 7 month old will catch it. My DH works on the weekend so I'm solo parenting. Wish me strength and patience! Plus I just got a text from my mil saying she started vomiting this morning!! She was with him when he started vomiting. Eeeek!

How long did it last for your kids? Did you catch it too?
