@MrsKoala: yea I have probably 60-70 oz in the freezer. I can always use that.

And in not sure if LO is hungry. I guess I just assumed she was with all of these middle of the night feedings she's been waking up for all of a sudden

Your supply will come back once you are feeling better. Do you have a freezer stash that you can use for now?

My daughter was in daycare so she only took bottles at that point, and I had a freezer stash. Does your lo seem super hungry? If so I wouldn't have had a problem offering some formula, but if everything seems okay, you'll probably be back to better soon!

@MrsBrewer: I didn't supplement. Mostly I got sick after my kid was in daycare and he was there full-time, so I just pumped extra to ensure I had enough for his bottles every day. Pumping extra definitely helped keep my supply up.

My supply always takes a dip when I'm sick. The only thing that works for me is just pumping/nursing extra and drinking as much fluids as possible. Once you're over the illness, keep up with the extra pumping/nursing sessions until your supply has recovered. Feel better!

That happened to me. Niorovirus when LO was 4 months. It was 3-4 days and then I felt better. Supply cut in half. Once I was feeling better and eating again, it went right back to normal. Keep drinking water. My Dr told me to eat clear broth and jello until I felt better (since nothing else stayed down) but hopefully it'll come back fine. Miserable experience!

I've been battling a stomach bug for 3 days now, and my supply of tanking. LO is waking up 3 times a night to eat when before it was only once. When I pump I only get 1.5-2 oz when I would normally get 3-4 at least. I'm drinking tons of fluids, and trying to eat, but it just goes right through me. Ugh.

Any suggestions?? I'm open to formula, but I want to breastfeed and I don't want this to be the end of it
