@HidingBee: I hope that the outcome of the test is what you want. Please come back and let us know how it all turned out

ETA: Just saw your post, still make sure you see a doctor if your symptoms don't clear up to make sure you don't end up dehydrated!

LOL - aww you guys are funny. Sorry to keep you waiting. I had to wait until this morning to actually test because I was so dehydrated that I couldn't get enough urine to test with.

But it turns out it was just a stomach bug :-( Although I wasn't really ready to start trying, I really started to get excited about potentially being pregnant again. So was DH... so it looks like we might be able to start trying sooner than we originally planned!

Exciting!!!!!!

To be honest, you sound just like me. I drank a bit too much one night and then the next week felt gross all week. I was nauseous and had the big D all week. I thought it was lingering effects from the alcohol until I couldn't drink my Salted Caramel Mocha one morning (actually, it was one year ago this week). :)

I had that exact situation happening in the beginning like between weeks 4 and 6 maybe and then the diarrhea stopped and the vomiting continued on it's own.
I was told one of the first signs of pregnancy that people ignore is diarrhea...idk how true it is for everyone else but it was for me.
It's supposed to have something to do with the increase in hormones...
So, did you test???

It sounds like my preggo sickness, I was so hopeful you were already pregnant and I wasn't alone!!

It started about a month ago, and mostly through the overnight hours like you, it's awfulness pretty much every trip to the washroom and while I have an appetite, my body hates pretty much anything I eat! I cut dairy, tried a BRAT diet, everything.....nothing made a difference so I am eating as I please and just hoping it passes. I have been tested for everything, and nothing has come back, chalking it up to being pregnant. Oh the joys......

This probably doesn't help.....but I thought I would chime in!!

I hope you feel better soon, whatever it is!!!

I think I have enough energy to run to the store and get some tests. Question is... will I have enough urine for the test...? We'll see and I'll post back either way.

You would know better then we would if it is realistic for you to be pregnant again. Take a test asap because as other pp's have said throwing up so much puts you at risk for getting dehydrated whether you are pregnant or not

I'd actually go to the doctor. You're losing a lot of fluids, it could be something bigger and not even just pregnant. Hope you feel better SOON regardless!

And either way - call your doctor! If it's positive, for obvious newly pregnant reasons, and if it's negative, because it's not good to be throwing up so often for so many days!

I would say it could be either. Have you been using any kind of birth control? If not, yeah, I'd take a test! Actually, no, I'd take a test either way, but would think it is more likely to be positive if you haven't been preventing.

Had to go anonymous... not just for the TMI but also because I'm a regular poster here.

I've had what I thought was a stomach bug since early Sunday morning. Lots of diarrhea and some throwing up. At first I thought it was a hangover because we were out at our friends' wedding Saturday night. But it stayed with me Monday. Tuesday I felt much better and went to work, but then threw up a bunch again that night. Wednesday I stayed home because my LO was sick and felt fine, until last night and I've been throwing up every hour since then.

I'm pretty sure stomach bugs aren't supposed to last this long. And I'm not running a fever. I feel fine until right before I throw up and then I feel fine immediately after.

I still haven't had a period since I had my LO so I have no idea what my cycle is. I never had morning sickness with my LO so I have nothing to compare it to.

ETA: (Here's the TMI part) I've had diarrhea w/ the vomiting and it's only happening from about 3am-7am. The rest of the day I'm trying to rest and take down liquids.

So what do you think?
