B.R.A.T. diet to help w vomiting. Juice or smoothies to get some liquids in her. Vicks, boogie wipes, humidifier. I took LO to Jamba Juice or brought some home to him when he was sick.

When I'm sick a bath always makes me feel better. Maybe get in the bath with her and let her lay on top of you and rest.

Oh poor baby! My LO loves coconut water, so you could offer little sips of that maybe if she won't drink water. It's the worst when they are so sick.

Maybe try water through a medicine syringe? My lo thinks it's more fun and it's smaller amounts...

I'm sorry your LO is so sick  I would probably offer some very diluted juice (unless it bothers her stomach), my LO loves juice so he would drink a little more. And I would absolutely sit in front of the TV all day with her if that keeps her calm and resting. Hope she feels better soon.

Unfortunately if it is a virus it just needs to run it's course. When our LO had a stomach virus at 6 months old the urgent care dr told us small sips of water every 30 minutes, unless he vomits then to wait an hour. You could also try this homemade pedialyte - http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/2013/01/31/homemade-pedialyte/

Rest is probably the best thing for her at the moment. Hang in there!

Definitely try to push the fluids. Maybe slightly warm herbal tea? Water, pedialyte...(they also have popsicles). If she gets too dehydrated it'll get worse. : (

I'm having a rough day because LO is sick, and I dont know how to help her. She hasn't eaten anything, and just had a little bit of milk, but then vomited it. She has a nonstop runny nose, fever, and cough. She's only been taking sips of water, and it seems like she has indigestion or something because she keeps making little burping sounds, and each time I think she's going to vomit. She can't sleep because she's uncomfortable, and she can't do anything else because she's so weak from not eating, and she cant eat because it makes her feel like vomiting. I went to the DR today, and received no advice. He just said its a virus and we have to let it run its course. Is that really it? Any suggestions on what this could be or how I can help her? She's lying on the floor now while I have the TV on. Its the only way I've been able to take a break.
