I think it's so funny people ask so much, it's not something I personally ever do to people. It is so, so frustrating to get asked so frequently.

people are so nosey! We have a 16 month old & we have been getting questions since she was born. I'm just like man can I enjoy the one I have for awhile before answering these questions!

Sorry you are getting frustrated. Unfortunately, it's just a way I think many people try to have a conversation. I get the opposite, since I have twins... Oh, one of each? Nice, you're all done! Um. No, we want to have three.

We're already getting asked about the next one, and DD is only 5 months.

Ugh. I feel like everyone expects kids to be 2 or so years apart since that's the most common age spacing (at least in my experience). I have a feeling we will get this question a lot because we want a 3.5-4.5 year gap between kids. My cousin's baby just turned 1 and my mom was already asking if I knew when they would have their next one! Nope and it's not any of our business!

@KT326: We're in the middle of boundary testing and tantrums. We had an awful night two days ago where I was ready to be done having kids. Last night, minimal tantrum and ate 2 slices of quiche, happy as a bug. Somedays, I'm so ready, others not.

@autumnlove: Ugh that is annoying! Luckily most of my immediate coworkers (the ones who know not to ask!) started their families when they were older so they think I am young! It is nice to hear that I have plenty of time, even if my family doesn't agree!

We've gotten some of this. LO is 17 months old. Right now, I still don't feel ready for another one. I want another one, but just not there yet. I worry that the longer we wait, the harder it'll be to get pregnant with the next one. Ugh, I didn't think that the planning for #2 would be this tough.

@Mae: wow! Yes, people are weird. At least I never got that while I was pregnant. Since having DS I have definitely made sure I don't ask people those questions! I only talk about it if the other person brings it up first!

@HLK208: @mfa_lady: Thanks ladies. My mom's comment just sent me over the edge this morning!

It doesn't help that DS had major tantrums last night and this morning, I can't imagine having to take care of a newborn right now! I want to get past this stage before that happens.

ugh, sorry. I'm still cooking #1 so I haven't really gotten this yet, but my mom has! She said that people keep asking her about our family plans and when we'll have our next one. She's like ummmmmm how about we let her give birth to the first and worry about if or when there will be a second later? People are weird.

DS is going to be 2 at the end of March. Every day this week I have been asked when we are going to have another one. By family. By friends. By coworkers. By strangers. Ugh. I am so tired of it.

Before pregnancy I had non-existent cycles so we had to use fertility treatments. But recently it seems like my body might be trying to have a somewhat regular, though still way unpredictable cycle. It would be nice to try on our own for awhile before we go back to the RE.

Plus this time I want to actually keep our treatments a secret so we can surprise our friends and family. I love all the cute announcements and I'm kinda bummed we didn't get to do that with our first.

It doesn't help that my mom posted on my facebook this morning telling me I'm "not getting any younger". Gee, thanks. I'm only 30!

Phew. Thanks for letting me rant!
