It was so infuriating that I stopped shopping there until they changed it.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I had an issue at Target once where they advertised on the shelf, $5 off Up&#38;amp;Up diapers, but they didn't give it to me at checkout. Apparently you had to have a printed coupon which they just grabbed an ad and honored it for me.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Before Christmas we went to buy a new tree since our lights weren't working... the one we liked at Menards was $200 which was a bit more than we wanted to spend, so we shopped around before coming back. By then (shortly before closing) they had put up the next day's signs and it was only $160. I took a photo of the sale price (so we could find the box) and at check out showed them the photo when it rang up at $200, so we got the sale price!&#60;br /&#62;
Price discrepancies can sometimes work in your favor.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I refuse to shop at Toys R Us due to an incident where they did not honor a sales price, I even took it up with the manager. They had a cart with a sign full of 90% off Halloween costumes, many which were Disney princesses, I picked out 5 of them to use as Christmas gifts. None of them range up and they would not give me the sale price. I stated that there were many in the cart and it wasn't a &#34;mistake&#34; and they said &#34;yeah we are trying to get people to buy them at full price.&#34; I was fuming at the false advertising.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I have found Target to be pretty good about honoring discounts. When I've had issues, the service desk has gone above and beyond to help out. The last time was when my Cartwheel didn't process correctly and I was overcharged about $5 so they refunded me $10!&#60;br /&#62;
I do hate the online and in store price discrepancies. I feel like shopping takes so much longer because I have to check the online price of everything I see in store.

<description>&#60;p&#62;It's interesting to me that you all want stores to honor their web prices. I work in an industry where it's common to have multiple points of distribution and different pricing. But, now I'm going to start asking for price matching.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What does annoy me is when stores have &#34;online only&#34; merchandise and you can't return in the store. Especially when shipping is free, but you have to pay return shipping. If the item was in the store where I could look &#38;amp; touch it up close I may not have bought it in the first place to have to return it.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I had this happen to me in Macy's right after Thanksgiving. I hadn't read any advertising, and when I walked in I saw signs that said &#34;Doorbuster&#34;on many racks. When I went to checkout, the items rang up much more than the signed doorbuster price.  Apparently, that sale ended at 1pm and it was now 4pm. I pointed out that I had no way.of knowing that, since that imformation wasn't on the sign. After a long conversation which included the manager, they honored the advertised doorbuster price for me...I can be a bit of a hardass in these kinds of situations!  I couldn't believe it when I walked back though the store on my way to the parking lot at 6pm and the doorbuster signs were still there, and I felt really bad for the cashiers who had to deal with irate customers like me all afternoon through no fault on their own.

<description>&#60;p&#62;One thing that drives me crazy (especially with Target) is the offer to &#34;match&#34; Amazon's pricing. The thing they don't tell you is that they will NOT honor the Prime price. If you have a Prime account the price only shows the Prime price, so you have to log out to find the true price. I've done this and Target said the price still didn't match what they had, but thankfully they honored the price on my phone.

DH went to pick it up and he said the price was $40 but we could still use the 20% coupon.  I said the price was what we bought it for online and to speak with the manager.  It was eventually ok but it was such a hassle.

<description>&#60;p&#62;A long long time ago I went to Pizza Hut with my Dad with a coupon for the lunch buffet.  It said until 1 or something and we arrived at 12. I guess it was a misprint and the manager refused to offer us the buffet.  My Dad was mad and walked to the BBB to complain.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Anyhow, I suppose it depends on the situation.  I had an evil local UPS not honor my paid for declared value even after my claim was approved.  Not much I can do unfortunately.  They tried to claim I only purchased declared value one way (would never do that, didn't know someone even could do that) ugh!  I guess these are more businesses being evil.&#60;/p&#62;
