We have the black hinged ones (had clear and they all broke one by one, black is so much better, looks cleaner!) and they're great, not annoying at all. But they do break.

@Beyond2: yeah that is my fear. I don't want to pull the knobs off. She pulled one off a few months back and it just doesn't look the same.

I have the hinged ones and hate them! My son is 17 months old and he now knows how to pull the whole knob off, cover and all. I just keep the knobs off the stove and in a cup next to it. I put them on when I cook and pull them back off. It's actually a lot less hassle.

We have the hinged covers and it's so super easy. I cook a lot and it has never bothered me. My neighbor as the ones that you have to squeeze to turn and that was super annoying for me so I wanted something different.

I have the ones with the hinge and our baby is only 5 months old... We bought them when we had her christening because we had the chafing dishes set up on a board over the stove and we didnt want any guest to lean on the dials turning on the burners. 3 months later and theyre still there.

we have the stove knob covers. they are not adjustable in sizing but are meant to fit various sizes. the hinge thing took a little getting used to--no in terms of difficulty but just getting used to the extra step of opening the lid before changing the stove dial, but i am used to it now and don't' think of it much. LO can barely reach them with his fingertips at this point, so i can't speak to how they hold up against abuse from a toddler that can easily reach them.

Which one do you use and is it adjustable in sizing?

Thinking about these two:
http://amzn.com/B004NZ7MPY

http://amzn.com/B005XTCMSQ

Not sure if the hinged would be a PITA though!
