I'm super paranoid - I even use the wrist strap the majority of the time, which DH does kind of laugh at, but I'm so scared of something happening to her.</p> <p>Like @mrsgreengrass one of my best friend's good friends (a girl we went to hs with) was out walking her two kids and was struck by a car driven by a woman on her phone. She had the infant in a carrier and the toddler in the pram - both kids survived, but the mom died. Had the toddler not been strapped in, she very likely would have been thrown from the pram. Sometimes I feel like I'm being paranoid about strapping her in the [car]seat in the stroller. But once we get near any road with cars, I get nervous and will strap her in if she isn't already. I don't know if I have an irrational fear, but the thought of her stroller getting hit and her flying out does cross my mind. FWIW, our speed limits around here are 50-55mph and people tend to still go about 40mph in the neighborhoods. </p> <p>Do you always strap your LO in the stroller for walks? If not, when did you stop? Like when they could walk? Or did you worry they'd jump out of the seat then on their own? </p>
