I also believe Thermos makes a straw cup: http://www.amazon.com/DwellStudio-Thermos-Insulated-Stainless-Funtainer/dp/B0101530DW?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

We love the Green Sprouts glass one with the silicone straw. Glass is encased in plastic so liquid does not come into contact with the plastic, but it protects the glass. We've dropped it several times and its survived :-)

I really liked the zoli cup in the beginning stage. It gets a bit annoying later because it can leak sometimes and the straw is pretty senstive but its a great started straw cup

Playtex used to make the little gripper straw cup so that you could squeeze the bottom and the liquid would come up the straw so that the baby could start to get used to how to use a straw. They don't do that anymore. Therefore, in the beginning, we used the take n toss straw cups since you can squeeze the liquid up. Once they get the hang of it, then you can move on to others. Clearly these aren't leak proof. And they don't have handles

We've actually move to these cups now and I really like them

Hi! The foogo makes a straw cup.
Also, Think Baby makes a stainless steel cup with handles and a straw!

@Kulala: the Thermos Foogo isn't a sippy? The one we have is a straw cup. Maybe there is a sippy version. Regardless, I wouldn't recommend the FOogo for a beginner because the straw is quite big. I like starting with the ThinkBaby Thinkster or Zoli for beginners. Beware that almost all of them will leak...

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations. My little one is 4.5 months now and I'm thinking of introducing a straw cup to her soon.

There are many types out there but I can't seem to find one that fits my preference:
- Straw cup (I try to stay away from sippy cup)
- stainless steel (no plastic)
- double handle (suitable for baby to learn drinking at the beginning)
- safe & durable

I wonder if anyone has any recommendations.

The Thermos Foogo and Klean Kanteen seem to be popular but too bad they are sippy cups. The Green Sprouts Glass seemed to be a good option until I saw several reviews that the glass could shattered.
