For the amazon one, you need to download the Hulu and Netflix apps before you can use them. On apple TV, they just sort of show up automatically. It's easy and it was the cheapest option for us. I think the chromecasts are $40 (Canadian, probably cheaper in the US) and they sometimes have deals on them. We got one for half off, and a two others that came with a bonus of $10 to the google play store. We've also used Apple TV in the past and had no complaints about that either.</p> <p>We used to stream straight through our Blu-Ray player, which I would advise against. DH bought an Amazon Fire Stick when it first came out, and we switched after the Apple TV broke. It has been working well for us for the last year or so.
