Our little got it about 10 days later. She's almost finished with this round of antibiotics. We just got notice from our daycare again today that someone in each of their classes has it. My oldest son had a recurrent bout 2 years ago and was on antibiotic forever. Amoxicillin does not work for him and he immediately has to go on a very strong does of Augmentin. My middle son who got it for the first time in May was cleared after the first round of Amoxicillin. </p> <p>When my oldest son got it the first time he also gave it to me and Amoxicillin didn't work for me either and I had to get Augmentin. </p> <p>Also with my oldest son his only symptom is a voice change. </p> <p>Strep sucks! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/strep#post-2747603 Wed, 14 Jun 2017 19:30:26 +0000 MamaG 2747603@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>@Tanjowen: it's circling around our daycare. Both of my girls were diagnosed Memorial Day. And now my older one was diagnosed again today. She woke this morning with a sore throat. We were out of daycare all last week for vacation. They finished abx on Thursday. Now we wait to see if little sister gets it from big sister. We have a bad resistant strain here and my LO has had it twice since Christmas. My 8 year old nephew has had it 4 times this year!
