I got a stress related rash but it was different than you described. But that's not to say that everyone's is the same!
Mine were random itchy bumps all over my body. Almost like bug bites. I had recently had my 1st miscarriage, I was working (no joke) 80 hrs per week to hit a deadline, we were moving in a couple of weeks and also had to travel for work the week before the move. My dermatologist told me I was having an "allergic reaction to stress". I'm not sure if she meant that literally or as a figure of speech. :-) But she gave me some creams to combat it and told me to do some things to help unwind. It helped!

@Raindrop: it's changed recently (I thought it was dry skin at first so I exfoliated) but I don't remember if it had the other 2 times.

Random question. Has the weather changed during these 3 times you got the rash?

I get a weird hand rash / dry skin when the weather changes. I have a cream for it.

It could be stress related. I remember that I used to always break out into a random rash around my nose when the weather was cold. Strange thing is, it hasn't happened since I had DD2.

Can you talk to a dermatologist to see if they recommend something?

This is the third time in the past 8 months (since DD2 was born) that I've had this random skin colored rash crop up on my face and/or neck. It happened once when she was around 2 months old, covering my neck, but I attributed it to changing horormones. It happened a few months ago, partially on my neck, partially on the lower half of my face. Then yesterday I have a rash all around my mouth and chin area. It's not red, sometimes just barely pink and it feels like rough or dry skin. It's been an extremely stressful week (finishing shopping, then both kids came down with bronchitis and I'm sick too). But I'm also 7 days out from my period, and the other 2 times it's happened it was very near my period or ovulation. Is it hormonal? Stress related? Both? Anyone else experience this? How do I stop it?
