@brady80: Could you try pumping extra (like in the am) this weekend while your husband is home to be an extra pair of hands? I'm not sure how much milk you'll need, but would it be worth it to skip a couple of weeknight bedtime bottles to save for the weekend?

@brady80: does your LO like the swing? I generally put DD in her swing and she mostly naps but sometimes she just hangs out while I pump.

@swedishfish: that's helpful. The problem is I don't really have an established routine. I basically try to pump when she is asleep for her long nap, but sometime the nap doesn't happen. I guess I will try to pump twice a day this week, so Dh can continue to feed her at night.

We went to a wedding last weekend and were gone about seven hours. LO was almost six weeks old at the time and she drank a 4 oz bottle, 1.5 oz bottle and one bottle of ready to eat formula because I forgot to bring the other breast milk bottles to my parents' house. When do you pump? I pump an hour after LO's morning nursing session.

@swedishfish: we will be gone for about 6 hours. I don't have anything frozen. I've basically been pumping once a day so DH can feed her a bottle at night.

We are going to a wedding next weekend and my parent's will be watching LO (she's 5 weeks). I have been pumping since she was two weeks, DH gives her a bottle each night. But this week she has been feeding every one-two hours as opposed to every three. I have no idea when I am going to fit in pumping sessions. Also, how much should I plan to leave with my parents?
