I think this is just a way to make things a little more elaborate so people feel like they're *doing* something.... When really it depends on your genes! Having said that I would use regular lotion mixed with Vitamin E oil which I read somewhere was the only effective treatment against stretch marks. I did this religiously during my first pregnancy and much less so during my second and fortunately no stretch marks either time (which I think proves it didn't really help either way....)

Ever since I got pregnant I've gotten advised tons of times to lather up with: palmer's cocoa butter, bio oil, mustela, and many other brands I can't remember.

I have a good pile of stuff already but I wondered about product layering. My GF and another blogger said they layered products, but how do you really do that? Oil first? Then cream or cocoa butter? Do you wait in between?
I tried it tonight, but honestly feel like my clothes are all glued to me! But in the name of vanity, I will do whatever I can. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Any FAVES/Stretch Mark prevention MUST HAVES?
