@JessLC: oooh i love Child's pose ! but I've never incorporated the twist - I will have to try that!

haha - you are explaining them great!

I also do one where i sit on the floor with the soles of my feet together in front of me and hold on to my shins and roll my back around. Like I stretch to the front and push my chest out then slowly curl around to the back and arch my back and go around and around in a circle and then change direction. Does that make sense? its my FAVORITE!

Oh and I do one where I put clasp both hands and put it on the corner of the top of the fridge, stand with my feet shoulder width apart and about a foot or two away from the fridge, and hang off it. So your back is a little arched, and I find that gives my mid back a nice stretch too.

Hmm I dont think I am explaining these well at all.

You probably do this one already but child's pose really stretches my back. Its my favorite, and you can add a little twist to it by sticking your right arm underneath your left arm so they are at a 90 degree angle to one another and twisting the back, then doing it the other way. If that makes sense at all...

Getting on all fours and then alternating between arching and caving in your back helps.

Any of you ladies have some good stretches that help with back and hips? I'm 18 weeks and have some moves that I love off my prenatal yoga dvd but figured you all might have some favorites. I've found that stretching/yoga has really helped me sleep well and not get so achy.

This is kinda funny, but sometimes when I am the only one in my office at work (I don't have my own office I work in a suite) I will do some stretches! I figure if someone comes in I'll just say I'm looking for something I dropped ???!!!

Ha!
