@Mamamoose: wow, yeah. That's like pro b-baller height! I'd definitely try it out in a store first though. You never know! He might like how one handles over the other.

Another big plus I forgot to mention:
B-Ready stands when folded.
City Select doesn't - rolls around everywhere.

@Mrs. Dumptruck: Uh oh.... your post makes me think the B-Ready won't work for us. Hubs is 6'6"!!

UPDATE: I went to our local baby store. Buybuybaby has all the strollers out for test-driving and rather than making the decision easier...
They both "drive" well and have an incredible amount of ease and control.
City Select: loved the stadium style seating when doing doubles. Rubber tires are awesome! Loved the telescoping handle bar adjustments - my husband is 6'1" and I'm 5'1" so it's great for us both. But 499 MSRP. geeew... that doesn't include a cup holder OR second seat for that matter...
B-Ready: Loved the play bar on the seat and that both seats can recline all the way in doubles mode. Tires weren't that bad! still plastic-y but not as inadequate as I'd feared. Still not sure how they'd handle sand or gravel terrain. Too bad they don't have an obstacle course in-store. Not that thrilled about the second seat being in the rear. Handle doesn't telescope so not quite as accommodating for the hubby's height. MRSP 399! still pricey but not like the Select.
I really don't want to have to buy another stroller to handle more challenging terrain *sigh*
Might just have to bite the more expensive bullet and go with the Select even though I'm being tempted with all these sales and markdowns on the B-Readys :-/
I don't think I had this much trouble looking for my house or car.

I looked everywhere online for Britax replacement wheels, I use the stroller on pretty rough terrain and need air filled tires. I couldn't find anything, including looking at all of the other sites (Australia, UK, US).

I'm choosing between these too!! I'm leaning towards the b ready because they are so similar but the b ready is cheaper! I have heard the wheels aren't great but we have a BOB as well so we'll use that if we are going to "off road".

I'm a b-ready owner and I love it! I haven't had any trouble with the wheels. The reason we chose the b-ready was because the weight limits were higher when you double up

Yes, I loved that the B-Ready allowed the potential second seat to recline but the tires are horrendous. I've looked everywhere online but haven't found anything saying I can swap them out for something beefier. I go to the park A LOT and walk a lot also. The tires on the City Select are far superior. Alas, the B-Ready is on sale and tempting...
Guess I should have mentioned that in the first post -
#1 priorities are the ability to reverse the seats and tires for varied terrain.
Thanks so much for the suggestions!

I think either one would be great! I've also got my eye on the Mountain Buggy +one for when we have #2... granted, #1 still needs to make her arrival (ahem, today is your due date, sweet baby!)

I tried out both at a store... The City Select wasn't for us because my toddler is tall and the seats on that stroller are short. They don't accomodate tall toddlers at all. So for us, it was either the Britax B-Ready or the Uppa Baby Vista (Vista won though because I got an awesome deal on Craigslist and I knew I only would need it to get through the winter... If I hadn't, I would've purchased the B-Ready... I love that the second seat can recline and has more seat combos).

@MrsDumptruck: You are considering the same strollers I am looking at, the B-Ready and the City Select. I am having a really hard time between the two, and still haven't decided, although I am currently leaning toward the City Select.

@WinnieBee: Which Phil & Ted's?

Those are the exact two my friends who are expecting in the fall are debating between!! I would suggest visiting a store that has both. They are SO similar and it could come down to just personal preference in looks and feel. I went with them as an experienced stroller owner and I had no preference..!! They're really really similar.

Anyone have any suggestions for strollers? My 9 month old has outgrown her snap-n-go and I'm torn.
So many different kinds and prices.
I think I've narrowed down to two:
Britax B-Ready or the much lauded Baby Jogger City Select.
We are planning on TTC our second next year so the double seating would be nice to have and I really prefer something that allows reversible/forward seating options.
Thanks for any suggestions!!
