My 2.5 year old rarely rides in the stroller anymore, which is why we haven't bought a double yet - and may not ever. I have an opportunity to buy a used but in good condition 2006 Joovy caboose sit and stand tandem for $15. Worth it? On the other hand, I think the kids might like sitting next to each other (they like to hold hands and talk) but I also think my 4 year old might find the sit and stand more fun. Not looking to spend a ton since I'm not sure how much longer we'll be using strollers.</p> <p>Insights and recommendations on strollers for these purposes/age gaps appreciated! </p>
