@hilsy85: I'm pretty obsessed with it so far. It feels/looks like a higher quality than the price suggests, and it's got all sorts of positions you can put everything in. <3 it.

@TurtleDoves: that bagile looks super cute with the bassinet! And I"ve seen the city mini with bassinet like the picture I posted so I think you can take the stroller fabric off so it's just a frame. It looks crazy, I know!

@Mrsbells: it depends how far back they recline...for a newborn/young infant they need to be flat, and it seems like not all do!

I don't know about the City Mini, but on the model of Britax stroller I had, you could take off the entire toddler seat to strip it down to just the frame. I discovered it by accident and did it on purpose to clean it after a vacation.

@MrsCB: I didn't use my stroller seat until my LO was 7.5 months (my LO is a peanut, and even then it still seemed so big for her!). I think it (the 6 month indication) has more to do with being able to secure your LO with the harness than the recline.

FWIW, both the main seat *and* the second seat fully recline on the B-Ready (I have the 2012 B-Ready).

ETA: Oh, and I am right there with you @ #FTMcluelessness! ;)

@sorrycharlie: @hilsy85: City Mini definitely has a bassinet attachment. It goes with both the City Mini and the GT and you can get either the bassinet or the pram.

I love our City Mini! We have the carseat attachment and I want to get the bassinet next time around. As for City Mini vs B-Agile, it's really a question of preference. They are EXTREMELY similar. You sister should test drive both and compare them in person to decide which one she likes better. The rubber handle on the City Mini (vs foam on the B-Agile) is what sold me. The foam felt cheap and less durable to me. Just personal preference.

I would also say that neither really recline 100% flat.

I have a Graco Modes Click Connect, which you can get with or without a car seat. Although I haven't gotten any real-world use out of it yet, it is very easy to take apart/fold up, and the infant stroller part can face backwards or forwards, and reclines flat. It's also pretty budget-friendly!

@hilsy85: Most strollers can be used without a carseat you can just recline the seat back. Having said that the carseat makes it much more convenient

@MsLipGloss: Hmm, their website says 6 months +, which I thought I read somewhere was because it doesn't recline flat. Did you use yours without the carseat sometimes too? I would like the flexibility to be able to do that, but I thought I'd be suffocating my child or something. #FTMcluelessness

@LivsMama: 2012 and 2013 UB Vistas recline flat, any from before that do not. Most people use the bassinet though, in the beginning, and you do have to remove that before folding it to put in the car.

To me, UBV is a little heavy and bulky for someone who is mostly a in and out of the car, so I'd probably have gone with the Cruz if that were the case for me. I'm in the city and walk more than I drive, so I wanted the extra durability and smoother ride on rough sidewalks of the Vista. And I wanted the bassinet for the same reason as the sister-- LO is due at the end of July and I think the carseat will be very warm. Plus the bassinet is so darn cute.

You can use the britax b agile from birth by reclining it or you can insert a bassinet. The bassinet is muh cooler than the carseat. We didn't use ours muh because my son was born in October, as you know, and it was too cold for the bassinet. It only fits up to 20lbs I think? Maybe 25. Shame because its very cute. Here's a google image
