@peaches1038: Did you ever have a chance to check out the armadillo flip? I can't seem to find a retailer in my area that carries it in-store and I'm really curious what people think. I'm debating between that and the uppababy cruz.

@Happygal: Yes, lightweight is very improtant. I'm trying to get away with just buying one stroller. The only place that is within walking (strolling distance) is our smallish neighborhood park. Otherwise, the stroller will be in and out of the car trunk. The City Versa is nice looking!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think that combo could work nicely! I would still see if there's a Babies R Us so you can get your hands on it. Is lightweight important for you? I also found that since it's a UK product, reviews from that area were a little more critical from moms who have had the stroller for awhile.

We got the City Versa. I'll be able to give a better review once the baby arrives! I didn't realized it doesn't stand on it's own, a drawback, and it's not super lightweight (but not a beast either). It had a lot of features I was looking for.

@Happygal: say it ain't so! LOL. Mamas & Papas makes an infant snuggler for their strollers, so I figured that would be helpful for the itty bitty stage. However, I keep reading two things 1) the safest place for a small baby to be is a car seat (nix bassinets) and 2) parent - facing is best when babies are under 9 months old. Given that I was thinking the Chicco Keyfit and Armadillo would be a winning combo. What stroller did you buy? Is the Armadillo good enough for 9 mos+?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: have you seen the Armadillo in person? I thought it was going to be "the one" for us, but when I saw it in the store, I was underwhelmed. I also read some reviews from parents who had tried to use the full recline with newborns, but it's a little too roomy for smaller babies. I'm glad I got to check it out and decided to pass!

I'm looking into the armadillo flip, which is coming out soon! The stroller can be forward or rear facing, which is important to me since I'm not planning on using an infant seat or purchasing a bassinet. Maybe this will be the winner! http://www.babygizmo.com/2014/09/mamas-papas-armadillo-flip-stroller-video/

I hadn't heard of the Armadillo, it looks pretty cool. I do have an Agile and we like it a lot. We also have a B-Ready and lately we tend to just want to use the B-Agile more because it's so much easier lighter and smaller. It is weird that the Agile doesn't go more upright. Sometimes DS gets bothered by it and pulls himself up using the sides so he can see. I may have to try Mrs. Lion's trick with the snack bar.

But the bad thing about both of these strollers is that the seat doesn't reverse. It took a long time for DS to be ok with facing forward and not being able to see us at all time. I know we tried at around 6m and it was kind of a fail. Now at 11m he's fine with it though.

But the best way to decide is to go and drive both around the store. Make sure to put weight in it so it's more realistic. Because as much as everyone can tell you what they like or dislike about the strollers, you won't know until you drive it what you think. And things you like/dislike may change as baby gets bigger too.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: i dunno about trendy but i LOVE the 3 wheels. I can steer so much easier and i can use it to jog with as long as i stay on pavement.

I think having lo look at ypu depends on the baby. When he was really young he was usually asleep in the stroller, and by the time he was older and alert he liked looking out. We actually turned his infant seat forward so that he could see forward before we started using the stroller without the infant seat.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I love my 3 wheeler, but it seems like all the new strollers rolling around are 4 wheeled ones...like the new City Mini and B-Agiles have 4 wheels, I believe? But because of that I know you can get an older B-Agile for pretty cheap. I liked having DD face me in the younger days because she needed more attention- like if her paci fell out or she was spitting up, falling asleep, crying, needed to be covered up, whatever, it was easier to see and address when I could see her face while strolling along. I think I stopped using the car seat w/stroller when she was 7-8 months or so? The older she gets, the better she's able to entertain herself and enjoy watching things go by without wanting to see me.

@tororojo: No infant car seat, just the recline. I hadn't even looked at the Vue you posted because of the aesthetics, but the price and reversible seat are fantastic. The only con seems to be the small basket. How long did your baby want to face you?

I didn't know three wheel strollers were no longer trendy.

I only have experience with the B-Agile (which I love!) but I read the reviews for both and the Armadillo sounds cool! Will you use the stroller you buy with an infant seat or just recline it all the way and lay the baby down? The bad thing about not having them in the car seat is they won't be facing you, which could be a little inconvenient in the very young days. I got the B-Agile (over, say, the City Mini) because it came w/the car seat attachment. Is an adjustable foot rest important to you? If so, go Armadillo...I like that there's a magnetic closure on the window and the 4 wheel look is more and more trendy these days! But the B-Agile is a great stroller (I think it's the one I see most often at the mall!) and you could probably get one a lot cheaper. If you have a Britax infant seat, I'd totally go that route. DD is 20 months old and starting to want to sit up straighter than it will let her, but at this point I'm planning to get her an umbrella stroller anyway- smaller footprint in my trunk and we don't really need a big stroller anymore. You could also look at something like the Baby Jogger Vue http://www.momsstrollerreviews.com/baby-jogger-vue-umbrella-stroller-review/ ...it's an umbrella stroller that reclines all the way but is reversible, so you could have baby facing you without using an infant seat. It does take infant seats, though.

@Mrs. Lion: that's good to know because between the two B-Agile is winning on price even when you add on the infant insert for the B-Agile.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: i dont have both so i cant compare them, but i really love my b-agile. It is a little annoying that it doesnt sit up taller, but once it started bothering lo we got the snack tray and he can sit up and hold on. We loosened the straps so that he can sit all the way up on his own, and he will ride in it for a really long time with no complaints.

Has anyone tried or used both B-Agile and Armadillo or Armadillo City?

Pros (for both) can be used at infancy stage without a car seat, lightweight enough to be sole stroller.

Cons B-Agile, max upright position is 54°. That's a recline!

Cons Armadillo, peek a boo window is plastic not mesh and I don't think there's a mesh back for nap time air flow. I'm concerned the stroller may feel like a sauna.

What can you tell me about the strollers from personal use?
