What kinds have you seen at home? I'd want to test drive it before I bring it home and also check if the warranty is valid in case it gets damaged and needs to be repaired.

I'd also check to see that you're within the airline's weight limit for strollers that are either gate checked or checked at the counter.

I am crushing on anything Phil and Teds right now.

I will be bringing the stroller back with me to NZ. The ones I've looked at are about 2/3 of the price. However there is a much bigger range - so really looking for recommendations for something I can use for a few years.

Yes, I've bought some snap and go wheels and will have a capsule. I'm looking for the longer term stroller :)

Depending on how long you're stay is, might be just worth getting an infant car seat stroller since your baby will be so young. Baby Trend sells one called the Snap and Go for $49 on Amazon. It's a universal car seat stroller and is lightweight. I don't know if you can face forward but it definitely faces you. Graco and Chicco both sells similar infant car seat strollers to use just with their car seats as well and just a little bit more expensive.

We got a buggy that I can click the car seats into, I think that could be handy! I don't know if the iCandy range is widely available in the states? We've the Pear model, for twins, and they can face forward, backward, or each other, then it takes the car seats, and if IF we decide to go for #3 later on, it works as a single baby buggy too. Definitely the most flexible one we found. Pricey though, it would've been €1,000 new but we got a very well minded second hand one for €380 so I was v happy with that. 1592 and 605 nzd respectively, google tells me:)

I will have a capsule car seat already and am wanting to get a Diono rxt car seat (I want to rear face as long as possible)
I'm considering a city select stroller.. But there are so many more options in the states!

We live in NEw Zealand but will be heading Los Angeles when our baby is about 8-10 weeks old (to spend Christmas with my brother and his family).
So! Im going to buy some gear before we leave and get it delivered to my brothers.
So far I will be buying a car seat and a stroller (which are both much much cheaper in USA than here) Ive decided on the car seat but not the stroller..
Any recommendations? I won't be using it for off reading, running or anything like that... And I would like one that you can change from facing towards you and facing outwards.
