@Anagram: yup- I've been emailing and asking if people will sell it separately for about half price. Only emailed a few so far and no takers but doesn't hurt to ask.

@Anagram: totally agree with this, we priced our Cruz at $300 knowing that we would be satisfied with $200. And the right person came around and asked to purchase it for cheaper (she was driving from over an hour away and didn't need the car seat adapter we were throwing in) and we sold it to her for that much!

I recently sold a barely used (only a few months) City Select with a brand new double seat and I listed it for $550, knowing that everyone would low-ball me. I got offers from $300 to $450 and sold it to the person who offered $450. So don't be afraid to offer lower, I think many people try to get more but will sell eventually sell for less.

@Foodnerd81: yeah, this can be a problem with hunting resale--a lot of people just price really high. If there's several, I would just email all of them and ask if they are willing to sell for half price. If it doesn't sell to someone else for a higher price, they will take your offer.

@Ginabean3: exactly- for not that much more money I feel like it's easier to just get the new one. Same with the rumble seat- I'm not going to schlep out to someone's house to get one that may or may not be a good condition for $15 off. I was planning to just keep an eye on used and buy new if I didn't spot a good deal, but I don't want to wait too long since the old ones are discontinued.

@Foodnerd81:  aw boo, that's annoying, that's how I feel about the BOB where I live....I was going to buy a used one and then realized it would only cost me like $150 more to get a brand new one in the color I wanted! Everyone here has a BOB!

@Ginabean3: I've been thinking about 50% of retail seems like a fair deal for both parties. But most people are listing them at only a couple hundred less than new. And there are billions of vistas in my city.

Hmm good question! Well, we originally got our 2013 UB Cruz for $500 and just sold it yesterday for $200.....so we got like 40% of the value back? I was satisfied with that!

What's a normal markdown for a used stroller? Used stroller accessories?

I'm looking to buy a used rumble seat and buggy board for my uppababy vista. Everyone seems to be selling them with the stroller as a set (which, personally, I think is a mistake since the new vista is such a better double, they'd be better selling then separately).

Anyway, just curious what is sort of standard for used strollers and such.
