@OCmama: I don't know where in OC you are, but the City of Orange has some classes: http://online.activenetwork.com/Orange/Activities/ActivitiesDetails.asp?ProcessWait=N&aid=921

@SAHM0811: yeah, I am going to try a trial class to see how it goes! Just trying to figure out which one to go to :)

interested in hearing about this as well so subbing!

@HABESBABE: I did email a few instructors in my area and they told me my LO (6 mo) would be fine. I also looked at a few facebook pages just to see what type of activity they do. From what I gather, it varies widely from instructor to instructor. Also it depends on the attendees. Some actually jog/run while others power walk. A good instructor should be accommodating to participants of all types :)

I did something similar called Strollercize. LO was 5 months. I think your LO is at a great age for it! I made sure my LO had toys in her stroller to distract her. If needed to feed or change diaper or get out of the stroller for a while, our instructor was understanding of all that stuff... Of course, one should be when working with a bunch of babies! My class was at a park and we also brought a mat for abs work near the end if class. LO would be on a blanket beside me. It was fun!

ETA: usually these classes allow for a trial class, so ask if that's an option before signing up?

Has anyone tried Stroller Strides before? I am thinking of doing this with LO (she's 7 1/2 months currently), but I don't know if she's too young for it. Does anyone have any feedback about this workout? I am pretty overweight and am not really active, so I'm hoping I can keep up!
